We are a neighborhood business that provides clean, friendly, safe, and most importantly -- compassionate, kind and gentle dog and cat grooming. Must be a team player, share our mission and believe in the culture of our company. We continue to grow and can offer the right groomer a fun, relaxed and long term relationship in a clean working environment.

We are open 7 days a week. Must be able to work up to 5 days a week, afternoons and weekends in a fast paced environment. A minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform all grooming services, including brushing, bathing, drying, anals, nails and ears, clipping, styling, and de-matting and conditioning of animals.
- Groom and style pets based on pet owner instructions and requests following standard procedures and breed standards.
- Be proficient in hand scissoring and clipper techniques
- Ensure wellness and safety of those in our care at all times.
- Approach and greet pet parents, be courteous and provide good interaction with customers
- Developing long-term relationships with pet parents, sharing product knowledge, and suggest products and services needed for happy and healthy pets.
- Perform routine daily cleaning to keep our environment inviting
- be comfortable directly handling dogs of many different sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- possess strong time-management skills and the ability to accurately estimate the length of time needed for a groom
- be excited to share new grooming service ideas and demonstrate a willingness to assist in growing the grooming business
- have a positive attitude and strong customer service skills!
- Be a team player and assist other groomers as needed
- Capable of using positive techniques with all dogs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

You must have your own tools, and Nature's Pet will provide tables, dryers, tubs, shampoo, towels, cages, in an environmentally controlled work area plus competitive compensation with additional employee incentives.

Minimum Wage or Commission, whichever is greater.
